Proposed Changes to Aberdeen Global

Our Board of Directors has decided to make a number of changes to the Prospectus (and Summary Prospectus in the case of Hong Kong Shareholders) of Aberdeen Global. Many of these result from the changes referred to in the shareholder letter and they may be summarised as follows:-

introduction of new Share Classes – Class Z Shares and Euro, Sterling and US Dollar hedged versions of Class A, Class I and Class Z Shares;
transfer of certain Aberdeen fund ranges (not currently authorised by the Securities and Futures Commission) into existing sub-funds;
change of name for Aberdeen Global - Sovereign High Yield Bond Fund;
increase in management charges of Class I Shares of Aberdeen Global - Sovereign High Yield Bond Fund;
change of investment objective for Aberdeen Global - High Yield Bond Fund, Aberdeen Global - Fixed Interest Opportunities Fund and Aberdeen Global - China Opportunities Fund;
amendment to calculation of share prices and change to definition of "primarily";
